In a world without mercy turned into hell by war, Asma', a Yemeni girl weak and strong at the same time, struggles for survival and for the safety of her family and relatives, keen not to lose her humanity among corpses and rubble, adhering to values and principles of which she feels like the guardian, to remain steadfast in the face of challenges when the overwhelming chaos becomes a general course.
This brave woman tells us, herself, about her long walk towards the sun in a harsh environment that does not care about humans, such as the high and indifferent mountains that surround her on all sides and dominate the neighboring lands with their height and majesty.
Thanks to her, the reader will be able to glimpse a society impervious to prying eyes, isolated on the fringes of gatherings and crowds but nonetheless strong with vitality because of the rigor of an inaccessible mountainous setting that gave it its rigidity and hostility to change.
